Please don’t say the democrats deserve to lose. They certainly don’t deserve to win, but when no one else will what’re you gonna do?
America has a complicated history of who assumes power when the leader has been dethroned (emmasculated?). In Bill Clinton’s case, it was Hillary. I’m sure this is something that intelligent people like the Clintons — who were raised poor and learned exactly what is was they needed to do to succeed —have taken into account.
When you concede by purporting how you should have won, you maintain a very strong position of autonomy and power. The Clintons are lawyers, as we’ve seen in Michigan and Florida, its pretty difficult to make a legitimate legal case against the popular choice when the other candidate has been removed.
I don’t think history remembers RFK enough as a reform candidate. Like Martin Luther King, Jr. — an enactor of feasible revolution. He was a very strong candidate for the democratic party, and then he died.
I for one don’t want to find out how far the Clinton’s will go for power.

This is such a valid and true statement. The harm that Hillary has done to Obama after she mathematically lost is incredible.
The only reasoning that I have for her staying in the race is to damage Obama enough that McCain wins, that way she can re-run in 4 years. If Obama wins then she would probably not want to run against the incumbent Democratic president, pushing her next run off to 8 years at which point she would be too old and insignificant.
I liked Hillary when the race began but the way that the Clintons have behaved is disgusting. Sadly the democrats almost deserve to lose this years election as anyone on the fence watching this bullshit would almost be guaranteed to vote republican.
